House in Primrose Hill
Beautifully and subtly designed refurbishment and extensions of a Victorian House by Jamie Forbert Architects showcases carefully designed joinery, bespoke lighting as well as an interesting take on a layout for a family home.
VRDC manufactured and installed all joinery including the main kitchen, central credenza, bar, wardrobes, and kids’ room joinery. The house was a winner of RIBA London Award 2022.
"On the upper layer of this more contemporary part of the house, a functional but fluid kitchen area connects to the garden. It is separated from the adjacent living and dining spaces by bespoke walnut cabinetry. A freestanding walnut-clad pantry with a hidden bar choreographs movement between front and back, hinting at feasts and social gatherings yet to happen."
